OMG, I’m reaching the end of my twenties era 💅🏾🥂
And I feel more confident than ever in life and my career choices. Best believe it took me some hard knockdowns and life-changing opportunities to get here.

As a millennial, our generation’s workplace expectations have been absurd.

Expensive degrees, years of experience as a starter, keeping up with old-fashioned leadership styles, and outdated technology. To name a few. All of this while adapting to the fast-changing corporate world.

My biggest career takeaway from the past decade?

🖤 To trust my choices as an 18-year-old Aruban student who moved abroad to pursue her dreams, no matter how absurd they may seem to others.

🖤 It is a skill to embrace rejection, defeat, and wins all at once. But that’s necessary to make this career journey even more exciting.
